The Highland Park School District is pleased to offer a before-school tutoring program for kindergarten and first grade students. Dragon Tutoring is designed to assist a student in strengthening his/her mathematics and language arts skills. Students are invited to the program based on benchmark scores, classroom performance and teacher recommendation. The program will meet weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 A.M. - 8:30 A.M. beginning on January 10, 2017 and ending June 8, 2017.
Helpful Information for Parents:
Please drop your son/daughter off at the main entrance to Irving School promptly at 7:30.
If your child is going to be absent from tutoring, please call 732-572-2400 ext. 1001.
Please feel free to send your child to school with breakfast to eat during Dragon Tutoring. Please make sure the breakfast is labeled Dragon Tutoring.
The cafeteria is also available for students to get breakfast. If you would like your son/daughter to get his/her breakfast from the cafeteria, please write a note indicating what your child will be ordering. The price for student breakfast is $1.00 and the reduced price is $0.30. If you prefer, you can order for the entire month by circling your son/daughters breakfast choices on a printed menu. If ordering breakfast please send in the correct amount or indicate that you have a cafeteria account.
