Welcome to Highland Park Public School District - Home of the Owls

I am truly honored and excited to serve as the Superintendent for the Highland Park Public School District. I am looking forward to partnering with our students, families, community, and staff to ensure that we drive the district's forward-thinking, holistic-focused mission of educating the whole child, nurturing not only their academic success; but also their social, emotional and mental health. 

My prior educational experience includes teaching high school and middle school science, serving as an instructional technology coach, and supervising K-12 science, technology and mathematics. Most recently, I served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for STEM for the Highland Park Public School District. I completed my doctoral studies through Rutgers University, where my research focused on creating a statewide community of practice to help science teachers implement the Next Generation Science Standards. 

My background in teaching and leadership has reinforced my belief that each and every student can learn and grow in ways that respect their individual needs, and I believe this philosophy dovetails perfectly with Highland Park's unique and deeply student-focused vision. I believe in strong collaboration with all stakeholders to make informed decisions that build upon the excellence that already exists while also finding ways to improve.
