We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kristina Donovan as our new High School Principal. Dr. Donovan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our school community, having served as the Administrative Supervisor of Student Services for the Freehold Regional High School District.
Dr. Donovan's impressive career in education includes her previous roles as the Director of Guidance, Health & Wellness, and the Supervisor of School Counseling for Princeton Public Schools. Prior to these leadership positions, she dedicated six years as a full-time school counselor, gaining valuable insights and experience in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Her extensive knowledge of the K-12 curriculum, policies, procedures, laws, and protocols of New Jersey Public Schools will be instrumental in her new role. In addition to her educational background, Dr. Donovan has over a decade of corporate experience in consumer products and fundraising, which adds a unique perspective to her approach in educational leadership.
Dr. Donovan earned her Ph.D. from Walden University in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision program. Her commitment to education extends to teaching at various levels, including Princeton High School, and professional development for counseling teams. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and currently teaches at Rutgers University in their leadership minor program. Additionally, Dr. Donovan was a visiting professor and program director at Georgian Court University in their counseling department.
We are confident that Dr. Donovan's leadership will inspire our students, staff, and community. Her diverse experiences and dedication to education make her a valuable addition to our school, and we look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly have.
