Superintendent’s Report: Two well-deserving members of our school community were recognized at the board meeting. Congratulations to Bartle student, Mina Hernandez for her outstanding commitment to being a great friend, peer and Bartle Dolphin! Also, a warm congratulations to Coach Shawn Harrison, who was named Middlesex County Coach of the Year. Coach Harrison has done an outstanding job of building an amazing football program, but more importantly making strong connections with our students.

The board also approved two new job descriptions: Culture and Climate Specialist and a part-time HVAC technician, accepted the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education’s New Jersey Inclusion Project (NJIP) Technical Assistance Grant, and approved professional development sessions associated with the grant. The board would like to extend a warm welcome to students from Rutgers who will be completing their student teaching requirements in our district!
