Superintendent’s Report: During the Superintendent’s report Mr. DiPane, Acting Middle School Principal, shared some wonderful remarks about the middle school student spotlight, Logan Campbell. Congratulations on his outstanding commitment to growth and for being an outstanding school community member. Also during her presentation Dr. Susca shared a presentation of Student Support from three program evaluations. Click here to view the presentation.

Curriculum & Instruction: The board approved field trips, the Special Education NJDOE Corrective Action Plan, new schedule B positions for Tech Crew and the Bartle Green Team, six SEL Lab interns from Rutgers University, the Edifii Pilot Program for 8th grade students and revised Health curriculum. The 2025-2025 District Calendar was also approved.
Finance & Facilities: The board approved several contractors for professional development in areas such as HR practices, reading comprehension instruction and PD for educators of multilingual learners. The board approved professional services including Camp Invention for this summer, three musicians for pit during the HS Musical, and four contractors to provide yoga for 8th and 9th grade students. A $1,000 donation to the MS Wrestling program and a $500 grant from the Change X Nickelodeon Our World US Community Fund were also approved.

New Business:
Due to the recent Executive Orders targeting immigration and immigrant communities Dr. Susca outlined plans to train staff on updated guidance from the state and reiterated our dedication to keeping our schools and the children and families in our district safe.
